Scriptural guidance
Our understanding and practice of communion are guided by specific scriptures and teachings. These include 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, where Paul recounts the Lord's Supper, and John 6:53-58, where Jesus speaks of the importance of eating His flesh and drinking His blood.
